Damselflies and mating beetles

Found a haven for insect wildlife only 1.5 miles from where I live. I knew the place was there, just didn't realise it would be full of stuff to photograph, I'll be heading back there a few times I'm sure :). It's the first time I've had the chance to photograph Damsels so hoping I'll do a bit better next time.

At one point, I had damselflies sat on the front of my t-shirt. Impossible for me to photograph :).

    Cheers Brian,

It's simply a man made wet lands area in a business park nearby but I think I'll be going back regularly :)

    Thank you Bas, Much appreciated.

With regards to the last pic, are you referring to the creasing just under the antennae? If so the stem was actually like that :). It was a little damaged I think and was actually bending/creasing somewhat under the weight of the beetles. Just checked the RAW to be sure :D

Great set of shots Ian. Bountiful shots lay ahead, I'm sure.
Wish I had only 1.5mi to travel, I have to go up to 10mi to get any privacy to do my shooting.

    Again very nice shots.

    Thanks Ken :).

It's not so much private unfortunately, but it's available so there for opportunity :).
