Undoing recommendation code?

Hi,

I had a half-off coupon code from using the smugshot ipod app, and i tried to enter a friend's email address as a recommendation as well, but that seems to have invalidated my smugshot discount. Can I un-do the email address "coupon code," in order to be able to use the smugshot 50% off discount? With my plans, I need to go with the pro level (tax reasons), but can only afford the 50% off the first year price I was promised by the app :-/.

    Actually, I just found a different code that worked, so I'm confused now. I don't know what would fix my predicament--I'm pretty sure I remember the coupon code correctly, but applying it says it is invalid. Is it something that was only applicable by you guys? Even this 20% off coupon isn't going to agree with my bank account... Unfortunately, I can't justify paying more than the $75 I was expecting...
