I'm trying to choose which company to use for doing my printing but I have no idea of the quality of their work. Are some samples available to look at (hard copies)?

Hi, please write our Support Heroes and we're always happy to send out a sample pack from both labs :)

I can help you choose, what sort of work do you do?

Andy, I'd love to see your response... I'd hope that you could post your opinion on what each printing lab is exceptional at, and from there I could choose what fits.

And, while the original poster hasn't responded yet, my photography runs the gamut from scenic & wildlife to weddings & portraits.

    Thanks for the offer!

Bay Photo with color correction ON. They only correct things as needed, and it's done by a human, with plenty of experience.

Hi Andy, I just recently received prints through SmugMug using Bay Photo and their "color correction" and they are way darker and also have more saturation than I prefer. Is there a way of letting them know what my preferences are?

I think it's going to be easier to just calibrate your monitor to their prints, and then adjust your originals before they go to Bay for processing.

Let's see the photos you printed - post a gallery link, please? Too-dark is by far the most common complaint received, and it's most always due to the fact that your monitor is too bright, thus fooling you.... standing by!
