A really red dragonfly

Overfocused

So, we get herds of dragonflies and damselflies every year in our garden, and while I love them, sometimes I can get sick of dragonflies - photographically speaking. Today this one literally would not leave me alone and let me take photos of it for 20 minutes straight. At one time I briefly stood up to browse through photos on my camera, and it flew up in my face and back down on its flower perch like it wanted more attention, so I obliged and continued to take more pictures I even got it on my finger for a split second at one point - that's how comfortable and interested it was with me

After blasting off 400 frames, here's a hand held stack of 3 images... enjoy! C&C welcome - although I don't think there's anything wrong with it! lol

Wonderful capture, I'd just enjoy them whilst you can - I've had much fewer damsel and dragonflies in my garden than usual this year.
