    I don't have any pointers actually since you seem to have some great shots here. thumb.gif Which one you pick seems to depend most on the weather that you're having that day and your personal taste. I like 3/4 and maybe even 2 best because of the clouds. Great work!

    I really like 1&2 with just a little bit of the pier and the sun really low on the horizon.

    What did you do in #5 to make it so blue? Is that in-camera, filter, or post processing? It's an interesting effect - almost makes the sun look like it's the moon.

    Thanks for the positive feedback. I shot all the images in full manual, raw and auto white balance. I just dropped the white bal temp down to like 2000.

    What great light! My $0.02: If possible, you might try to find a more dynamic, involving composition. Here, the pier sort of just juts into the picture from the left. If you could somehow make a foreground element a stronger part of the composition, the resulting photograph would be absolutely stunning. thumb.gif
