The new forum look is much, much better. I like it.
Now back OT.
Just walking around looking for something to shoot, when I see this butterfly about to land from about 5' away. After taking the first shot I thought... that was a little too easy. The next few pics will explain why that was so.
The venom of these Ambush Bugs is very quick acting. the butterfly was immobilized within a few seconds.
Then again it doesn't help being stabbed by one of those things.
This guy would not take his eyes off of me.
He's still looking.
He kept turning her over until he found a juicier spot.
You can see here his belly starting to swell.
Cheers... Well after this, who knows.
