He speaks with forked tongue

I don't think this one wanted his picture taking, he stuck his tongue out at me. I've never seen a heron's tongue before it looks like a barbed spear.

    Interesting shot. That tongue looks rather nasty!
    Thanks for sharing - this was an aspect of a heron I've never seen before either.
