Gang-gang Cockatoos
These are not common and, in fact, I never thought I'd see one where I live. The neighbour rang late this afternoon saying I have to come out straight away and bring my camera. There was a family Gang-gang cockatoos in our yard near the side fence by the neighbour's property. I didn't get to see the 'kids' apart from flying off but mum and dad were in a tree near our pergola and I did manage some shots before they flew off.

I love these parrots, and am very envious that you had them in your yard!
After not encountering any for at least a decade, I saw a small group of them a few weeks ago. Unfortunately the light was terrible, and I didn't get even one decent picture.
