I was on the shore of a lake, examining some very interesting tiny white flowers that were full of various wasps and hoverflies. I took a few quick shots, then set about getting set up for real. While I was attaching a monopod & tubes, I dropped my EF 100mm L macro in the lake!!! It was stopped by a rock, so at least I could retrieve it. I baby my equipment, so this was quite a shock. It is off at Canon service now, so no chance to retake this properly. Still, even not well done, these are interesting shots, I think.
