A stack of twelve manually focussed images stacked in CS5. I used a single studio flash head with softbox and reflectors for lighting. The backdrop is a sheet of Permajet art paper (needs must!) Canon 5D Mk2 and Sigma 105mm macro.

As a matter of interest, most of the shots in macro seem to be insects (which is fine) but should floral shots go somewhere else?

not enough people shoot flowers, it is so difficult to shoot them well!

Great image. Please keep posting. This forum is for all macro, not just bugs. Flowers are fair game.

Nice detail. I think any super close up of anything could be placed in this forum. IMO

Actually, you can't see the fine detail too clearly there. here is a blow-up screen print from the bottom of the shot.
