I'm not really a landscaper (it's not really one of my strengths as a photographer), but I thought I'd share these shots anyway. I took them from a balloon near Goreme, Turkey. C&C welcome.

Kathie, I often see the balloons float by my office window in the morning over Melbourne. I haven't done a city flight yet, but I have been on one in the Yarra Valley, and that was very pretty. I haven't heard about the Canberra Balloon Festival, but that really sounds like a hoot.

I think it's March each year they do them in Canberra. I took this one in 2009 - hadn't been using my camera for very long so not as good as it would be if I took it today.
