    Nice work. I tried this a few weeks ago on rough water and it was really tough. I think 5 is my fav.

    Very nicely done, 2&5 would be my pick - I take it you used quite a high shutter speed for these?

    is it possible to take pics like this from the shoreline?

    Off the top of my head I think I was using 2000 shutter speed at least. 5.6f or so.

    These were from the boat. I don't think you would get stuff like this from the shore. They use the boat wake to make the jumps.

    Geneva lake on a Monday... there is less traffic to mess with.

    Here is a tip I picked up from someone else. When the wakeboarder is getting pulled up, lock your focus on them. They use the boats wake to do the jumps, So they are pretty much right where they started when they do their tricks. I used 5.6f to give me a little room in case they are slightly off to the side. (which would make them a tiny bit closer) . You get way more "hits" than trying to keep the focus on them.

    Great tip, I'm going to try this next time. If you position yourself at the pylon(attachment point) the distance will stay constant. No effect from spray, focus point dropping off skier/wakeboarder/tuber. Great tip. Thanks
