Thumbnail for video shared on FB?

I posted a video (time lapse) to my WP site today (via hosting on Smugmug). When I shared it on FB, there was just the text from my post and no thumbnail generated for the video. Is there anyway to add a thumbnail to the post? Is it possible to post video to FB that plays 'in-place'?

Right now the only way to have a thumbnail show and the video available for playing on Facebook would be by use of the like button below the video in your gallery. I'm not aware of any other way at this point.

Just tried that. Got a thumbnail but unable to play on my FB page. Link kicked me out to SmugMug. I prefer to get the pagehits on my WP site and therefore will stick with a text only link for now...

You'll see other entries have a nice thumbnail (though all images on my site are hosted there until the Smugmug implementation works better)
