Hi,

I thought this could be of interest for those waiting for availability. Here's the link:

Yet another tempting lens that I cannot justify owning :)

Had mine since Monday, but sadly have not been able to use it much. It is very cool though! Love it on the 5DII. Here's 8 and 14mm

This looks like a great lens, if a little on the pricy side. Last year I was lucky enough to borrow Aprils' 8mm fish eye. Loads of fun. Here is one I got:

Canon's awesome new lens the 8-15mm f4 Circular fisheye
For those of you who are considering to buy Canon's new lens I thought to provide a link to some detail reviews both on a Full frame as well as the APS-C Bodies as well as my personal experience since I acquired it a few weeks back. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

First, please see the link below for a pretty comprehensive review I found very useful:
    http://www.the-digital-picture.com/Reviews/Canon-EF-8-15mm-f-4-L-USM-Fisheye-Lens-Review.aspx

Also wanted to let you know that I used the lens recently on a trip to <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />New York city and for photography in places like the Times Square and found it to be very sharp and capable of providing unique opportunities for creativity! While I did most of my photography on a 7D I plan to use it more on my 5D as well truly see the results of a 'circular' fish eye.

I am very pleased with the performance and recommend it for an addition to a Pro or advanced enthusiast collection of lenses. I have been too busy to process any of the photographs and post it on SmugMug (photoarts) but plan to share some results soon.
