Great concept, my friend. I have a suggestion, though, that would make this shot more appealing to my eye. I think the feather needs to stand out much more than it does....I don't see a white feather, I see a dull gray one. As such, the surrounding elements seem to overwhelm the feather and the dynamics of the scene suffer. A pump-up in the vibrancy of the feather would help a lot in setting up a separation between the main subject and it's environment. I'm sure others will see this differently.
Take care,
Tom
I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

Thank you very much for your comment. Tom. I thought, when I did the post processing on this one, the mind will fill in the idea of a white feather since the whole scene has that warm tone in it. If I deliberately make it white it would look a bit unnatural but I perfectly got your idea on this one. Actually my first title for this was supposed to be "Feather on the ground" but I then decided to go with a simpler title of "White feather". I can do another edit on this one and save it on my computer. Thanks a lot for your valuable input. Kind regards.

Wonderful. As I said, I'm sure other folks might see this one differently, but I think this version is, by far, the better one. Many thanks, my friend, for taking the time to offer up another interpretation of the scene.
