Evergreens As Background

I had not tried this before, but was pleased with the results and thought I'd pass it along in case anyone else might like to try it.
At an impromptu family reunion I had a few people ask if I would take a few shots they could use for their Facebook profile. The time of day left limited options for locations and I settled for a spot in the shade in front of a clump of evergreens. Positioned the subject about 6 feet in front of said trees and used a 105mm lens along with an off camera flash. Because of the DOF, it looks almost like it was shot in front of a studio background.
