For the Bay area those are good prices. You need to charge what you feel you are worth, and what your market will allow.

One suggestion I would give is that your page is too busy. 1 take all the advanced editing stuff off each section and make it, it's own section later in the page 2. Take your terms and conditions out of the "comments" and post them on the page. It looks too unprofessional to put them in the comments.

    Just my opinion though.

    Nice looking site..........

1- in your drop down if those are all deposits make that clear...add deposit to each offering in that drop down...I know it is in the print above the drop down but people quickly forget.......or over look that.....gotta be clear on everything...

2- If you do not have a studio yet....do not offer studio experiences......what happens if a client want a studio family portrait and all you can find to rent is $350 / hr......and your giving them a 4 hour shoot at $350.........that could be extremely bad.......

Hi Justin, I was just surfing through and this caught my eye, but thought you might want to do some proofing as poor writing will reflect on your professionalism. ;-)

    10 dollars, should be $10

    Lose the word deposit.

Next, your hourly rate is jumping all over the place, this looks really funky. Is it harder for you to take certain images than others? Look at your site like a potential customer. Do the varying rates make sense in the way you have them presented?

Your modeling rates are the cheapest by the hour. Do you really work with models easier than a family portrait session?

As to whether or not your prices reflect other bay area photographers, that really depends on where you looking.

Don't get caught up in what others are charging. The margins are far too wide.

At the bottom of the page you offer all basic images for $80. How many does this include? You offer all Advanced for $120 yet you also state that advanced are $25 each. On top of this, for headshots you include all the images on cd.

    It seems confusing.

Personally I use "Retainer" instead of "deposit". Legally speaking, here in New York deposits can not be "non refundable".

nEVER USE DEPOSIT......those are always refundable...look at any attorney...you pay them a deposit they take a retainer fee.....Utility companies take deposits, rental companies take deposits.....Change deposit to Retainer fee and if you have a FAQ where you explain anything add retainer and state that it is a non refundable amount to hold a specific Date and Time slot.......I stung on this just about 29.5 yrs ago......
