Ok, so I took this snapshot, very much not a formal pic, but both the mother and I like it... This is pretty much SOOC, but I do have the RAW file.... Any idea on what to do with it? :dunno He's half Black, and I don't want to 'wash out' his skin, but I know it's a littls flakky and hairy, needs lots of smoothing. Any ideas? I know it's not technically perfect, but we just like it, lol :scratch

After looking at it here, it's clear his arm/hand needs to be removed from the BG...

I'd probably crop in from the right and then do a BW conversion and some skin smoothing - YMMV.

most babies have blotchy skin, so work on that rather than washing out his skin tones. I love the way his eyes copy the shape of his mouth here. thumb.gif

I would also go black and white. One thing I have done to deal with blotchy newborn skin that I want to keep in color is to use a little bit of a beige sepia filter. I wonder what this would look like if you tilted it just a little so the head is angled upward.

One possible edit on the image, 10-13. I hope I did not offend you.

Sitting quietly, doing nothing. Spring comes and the grass grows by itself.
