    We've made many trips to the southwest and rarely see these. I would have thought they would be too shy to pose, Having a dramatic red as a background color is bit disconcerting though.

    Howdy Gary,

    WOWSER< Roadrunners are one of my Favorties,
    and I love the red background,
    plays so well off the red of his head colors.

    We've got a breeding pair on our little place, and love seeing
    them cruise through. They are pretty secretive Critters.

    What a terrific shot! We are fortunate to see many birds in Florida a Roadrunner isn't one of them. Thank you for sharing! :D
