i'm sure that gubbsie would have stuck a thread like this right now, but he's busy with his new baby - so, i'll start it
for many dgrinners in the northern hemisphere, it's time for fall colors. so post yours here - and especially you lurkers! it's a great time to make an introduction and share a photograph.
i've not been out yet for the fall colors, it's a tad early yet for me.. but i am heading out to some new spots next week, with a gallery owner across the hudson - hoping to find that magical combination of light, color, scenery and subject that will make for some great photography.
so, everyone, let's see your fall colors! don't worry if you've posted a pic elsewhere already this year - put it in here again. and keep them coming. and you lurkers? get down from those rafters and say "hey."
enjoy photography,

Here is my feeble attempt of trying to take a shot of my wife and son, while holding the dog in one hand and taking the shot with the other.
Cheers, Tony
but they made me give it back.
Here are some pictures taken earlier this week up/around the Tahoe area.
It was a chilly Tahoe morning; out looking for some Bald Eagles.
Hope Valley barn.
Not the best of pictures, but I had to shoot quick to catch the bald eagle down there.
Thanx for looking. Kevin.
Whilst driving through the small Highland village of Carrbridge this morning this Maple caught my eye. With so much Pine around it's unusual to get a tree with such vivid colours.

Went fishing this weekend. During the midday time, I drive the backroads
to try to find some wildlife. Not much for wildlife this weekend, but some
nice colors.

I love it when the Jacaranda blooms have just fallen on the ground. Beautiful.

I recon its better shooting the stuff on the ground as you need a lot of trees together to make a shot but its like carpet on the ground.

Nothing like being buried in a pile of leaves....
This one's from 4 years ago, and I really need to go back and post process it again. What was I thinking?
Anyway, it's from a big pile of leaves that was about 20 yards from the vietnam memorial in D.C.

Very cute, Ginger. A natural for Kodak. They might use next year if not this.
I am tired of wondering if it screams "law suit", too. I got away with the lemonade stand.
