Well, my original thoughts for this did not pan out for various reasons. So the only thing I have gotten shots of that I liked were of my kitties. I know none of these are outstanding, but your comments & suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Not positive of a title, but it would be something on the lines of a siesta snooze or lunch break.

4. The title on this one would have to be something about a lunch basket.

I like #3 the best. It's the sharpest in the places that count. Love the colors and textuers, too.

I like the change in DOF in #1, but the sharpies and background are a little distracting.

I prefer #4 if the title helps it fit the theme and #3 if you end up going with a title like Catnap in the Middle of the Day or something....

Thanks for your thoughts Chris, Brian & Gretchen. I've reworked these - Bob seems in the lead (#3) & I wasn't happy with the contrast, so here's updated:

3 (boosted contrast): One eyed siesta (any other title suggestions??)

1b - a different shot of Finley with less distracting bg- she laid right on top of my work to nap & I was 'forced' to take a break!

    1c - a shot from the top:

    4. (boosted contrast & darkened pupils), title: Ready to picnic!

I like #1 with the sharpies. I could see it with a title like "Hard at Work".

My second favorite is #1b. Something about the pose really says out of it.

My cats sit right next to my mouse when they want attention. It works every time. :D

Thanks for your comment Karen - I ended up entering #1 with a muted background. Mainly because she was just soooo cute sleeping on my work!

    Good luck to all! :)
