Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 VC for Canon

Hi everybody, I'm new to these boards, but found it on the SmugMug blog post yesterday about safely buying used lenses. I'm selling a Tamron 17-50mm F/2.8 XR Di II VC lens. It's been used MAYBE five times - I bought it for nature shooting, and don't get out much these days. I can't see anything on it that separates it from a new lens. Asking $475 to me for the lens shipped to the lower 48, or I can meet in/around Boston for an in-person sale. Comes with front/back lens caps, lens hood, box, and original documentation - the box has the serial # cut out of the top as it was needed for a rebate when purchased new from Amazon.com this past November.
