Sorry, without specifics, I can't help. Please show me some examples.

We added things like :smo :seamus :jfriend :ivar :davidto :cavig not long ago.

I don't think we need new smilies. I would (gently) suggest that some of the current smilies could be quietly retired (STFU, FU, etc.).

There's a really cool plugin called 'favorite smilies' that allows users to keep their own list of favorite smilies and change it at will:
