Sub-Categories

I have made a sub category under sports, then I tried to make another, it did but did not show up. It shows only 1 sub category? Is this something I am doing wrong?

Are there any galleries assigned to the subcategory? Subcategories only show on the category page if there are galleries assigned to them.
