Light Stand Adapter for Speedlights

All,

I have my light stands that I think have the 5/8 flash stud. I want to connect my Nikon Speedlights to the light stand and I could use a Super Clamp I guess. I do have the foot for the hot shoe that came with the flash that I think has a 1/4 threaded female end. What is the best way to get an adapter for the 5/8 to work with the Speedlights foot or some other CHEAP way to get the Speedlights on the light stand?

Also, I may need to have an umbrella too. The umbrella may require the bogens clamp?

Might want to try a local machine shop. Should be really simple little adapter to make.

Some of the Nikon Speedlights come with a stand and the bottom of the stand has a 1/4" threaded hole for attaching to a tripod. My light stands are 1/4" studs and I think that's pretty standard.
