"Listen to the Music" The Doobie Brothers

A few weeks ago I started a mini marathon of shooting summer concerts. It involved shooting 31 different acts/artists over a 65 day period in 3 different states.

It sounds like a lot but a majority of the 31 were taken at two different music festivals making it easier to cover and not as busy as it sounds. Still, there have been a lot of late nights spent proofing, processing and editing.

I'm about 2/3 done so here's a few of the 31 from this summer.

    Great collection of concert shots...one of my favorite genre of photography actually.
    Terri still looks fab these days and that shot of Miranda is awesome!

    Most excellent concert shots!!!

    Was my EXIF reader correct? Some of the shots were taken at 50mm and 24mm? Wow, must have been REALLY good seats!!! I feel like I could reach out and touch Paisley and Rucker.

    Wow.....

    Could very well be...many of the shows I shoot don't allow long lenses....

    What a mish mosh of different talent.
    My favorite is Charlie Daniels--he looks better than he did when he put out "The South's gonna do it again"! The man has not aged!

    All the Credit goes to his wife Hazel....she keeps him on the straight and ...welll ...ummm narrow....so to speak.... rolleyes1.gifrolleyes1.gif .......Good to he has lost lots of weight........he was my fav to shoot when he was coming to this area........

    Yes, a lot of venues won't allow an SLR camera in the concert halls. The largest lens used in this series was a Canon 500mm.

    Dogwood, I was surprised how great they sounded. They really put on a great show.

    Charlie is better live than recorded. It was one of my favorite concerts last week.
