Maybe not 1000 but close to it! Just thought I would share a little trick and save some of ya's some cash. As you know, gels can be expensive for the tiny little pieces that you get. You can buy rolls of "cellophane" paper at your local craft store for $3.99 per roll.... and not have to worry about buying gels for years. It doesn't get any cheaper than this and it works great! Keep in mind that this is for color effects only and you would still need to get properly balanced CTO's,Florescent etc etc. Anyway, I hope ya's find this as useful as I have!

WHAT ABOUT HEAT DISSIPATION / TRANSFERENCE.....how quickly will this material melt??

May be a bit more expensive but I learned a long time ago...nothing works as well as ROSCO.......except maybe LEE......

They work and they are cheap... period. They do not melt either. At least the brand I use doesn't! They might if you use the same "sheet" and leave it on all the time. We have numerous colors tacked up near the strobes. They get changed out all the time... depending on color wanted. They get wrinkled or the tape gets stuck to each other so they get tossed out long before they melt. This is the best value per performance out there. It costs 100X more to use Lee or Roscoe. No thanks! Not unless it's for precise balancing.
