a woodland stream... 5d, 17-35 @ 18mm, 1.3 sec @ f/14, with a touch of Orton to add a somewhat mysterious, "fantasy" feel...

Lovely, except for the color cast that makes it too uniformly green. Lose the cast and this will truly pop! thumb.gif

Very nice. I was thinking before I read the previous post that it looked a little yellow to me, but I have a bad eye for color casts. It's good as is.

You're both right. It is quite green with a strong dose of yellow. But, from the OP's comment, I think that was exactly what he intended and I think the image probably accurately reflects the artist's intent.

I think the title Forest Light is fitting for this interesting photo.
    W/B is just fine.

    I really like it.

I see we're from the same area. Where was that shot taken?

I think its a perfect shot - everything in it compliments the whole picture.

thanks, guys. i was more after the mood and feel than perfect color rendition... wanted to capture the sense of deep woods, lush green forest and filtered light. the original, non-"Orton" version is a bit less green, but it doesn't have the mystical, almost fantasy feeling i was after...
