Queen Anne's lace is everywhere in the Adirondacks now--roadsides are blanketed with it. Most people give it little attention, but it is a fascinating flower up close. Here are three views, first fully opened and then opening. Maybe one of you knows--it looks like it has separate male and female flowers, appearing at different times. All stacked with Zerene, PMax. Last one is a bit over 2:1 -- 60mm macro with 68mm of extension. Lighting was all I had handy, other than a flash--two 50W incandescent mini-floods hanging from the kitchen wall.

C&C welcome, as always.
