Unadilla Pro MX 2011
I went to B&H Friday with one goal in mind. To walk out with either the Nikon 300 F4, the 80-200 F 2.8, or the 70-200 F2.8.
They didn't have the 70 - 200 in house which made the choice easier and also cheaper.
So I settled on the 80-200 and promptly stopped home, booked a hotel in Oneonta, grabbed some socks and toothbrush and off to Unadilla I went. By the way that free parking at B&H is pretty cool. To be able to park in Manhattan for free and have to walk a 200 feet to your destination is a hoot.
I also grabbed carbon fiber monopod. Saturday ended up being overcast mostly and I can't understand why people say they prefer shooting in overcast. I'll take clear skies anyday.
With no further ado, Unadilla 2011. The monopod helped here. Best jump on the track.

see you at Southwick.
Hey now! My 2005 640 Adv is one of the best bikes I have ever owned. And isn't that a Penton engine in that "KTM"?
Anyway, nice shots. Looking forward to your Southwick pics.

I love that parking spot at B&H as well, in fact, I go there more (and spend more $$) since I found out about that spot....
