Great shot but I think I would crop the top at the water's edge and maybe a bit off the bottom to balance. Let the boat hull stand alone. As it is, the skyline draws the eye away from the subject.

Neat minimalistic shot and I like the context of the skyline.

    Thanks Hinson for dropping by.

I intentionally want to show the boat was uncovered in the vast expanse of the sea by showing alot more water surrounding it. I think by cropping as per your suggestion will have some weird proportion.

I think the contrast between the almost primitive ruin and the modern skyline is what makes the shot.

I, too, like the contrast between old and new.

I wonder what it would be like to recrop and eliminate some of the expanse on the left side; placing the hull in the bottom right thirds intersection, plus provide a larger percentage of "modern" shoreline.

    HI Guys and friends,

I didn't know this pic has stir up so much enthusiasm. Its nice to chew on your comments and keep striving on my next take. Thanks so much.

BTW, I have a sequel to this shot and posted under "Raiders of the Lost Ark". Guess its not on par. If you do have bad critique, you are also most welcome. Its all about how I can improve.

    Cheers
