it occurred to me that with new VB version , i dont get a pop-up message with new unread message

simple question ;
you took it out , or , is it blocked by my software ?

and
if you took it out
can it be put back ?
[ if not , not , i dont mind , just wandering ]

    Firefox latest + ABP
    Kaspersky IS

    did get the pop-ups before

    Are you sure ...cause I stopped getting the pop up prior to changing to FF5.....and that is all I have changed on my C drive ........ It was also working on IE 8.0.7XXXXXXX my OS has been Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit for a very long time now........

    I've been getting it at pages other than the homepage. Not at the homepage, though.

    Yep. Just did a test and I can confirm that PM popups don't work on the homepage in FF6/Win, though they do work elsewhere. headscratch.gif

    ......still standing by.....if the pop ups are not going to be re-instated then the "unread xx" need to turn bright yellow or red (auto high lighting) to get your attention......and not by having to mouse over them......being a muted grey color it is very easy to over look PMs that need to be read and answered.

    If you have an unread PM, it will be in green text, like the rollover color.

    Not for me...it was still grey this morning.....and I do not get any pop ups even on pages other than the homepage ...I would never have known of the PM if I had not checked my email and seen the notification....

    I agree, it was handy but not a must-have. I'm pretty sure it's VBulletin cause nobody's getting it on the homepage. I don't know about on the other pages, it was working fine for me.

    Pop up is working but I told it not to open and it did anyway.....no color to the unread mesage link tho.....but I rely on the pop up...Thanx
