    nice shots - #2 seems a bit under exposed and #3 seems a bit over. not too much though.

    Thank you Choudhrysaab. I was having a hard time with the exposures at the battlefield, lots of bright sun and heavy trees. Will have to try a little more work in LR.

    See if you can purchase a ND filter (those really help in dimming the sunlight).
    what were the settings for both shots (#2 and #3)?

    Thank you for the tip about the filter. For #2 the EXIF is ISO 200, f/8, 1/60 and #3 is ISO 100, f/8, 1/8. I was surprised that it was that slow for #3. I was shooting in AV for there btw.
