Praying Mantis eats bee!

So I was taking pictures of butterflies... then I started taking pictures of bees... then I found a random praying mantis that decided that one of the bees next to it looked really delicious!

    Nice shots Shima. Great before and after shots. I had an encounter with a preying mantis where it grabbed a fly right in front of me but I think your shots are much better than mine were. The mantises by me like to hide in awkward positions that I can never get a good vantage point on them.

    Actually nope! I used my Canon Powershot Pro1 and put it on Super Macro which lets me get really close :)

    Not to say that I wouldn't love a macro lens....
