SB-28DX master and slave operation?

I hear good things about the cheaper Nikon SB-28DX's and am thinking of getting two of those to start out with.
What i'm really wondering is if I can use one as a master flash on my D2x and use it to trigger another sb28dx as a slave?
Can that be done with out any other accessories, If not what should I look for?
I don't have much experience at all with flashes being used like this, besides an older vivitar i use for product/lightboxes
Please feel free to suggest any items or even different flashes, but in the same price range or less. I believe the Sb28DX's go for about $120 used.
Thanks

A very popular cheap flash is a Yongnuo YN460II on Ebay. They go from $30-45 and are a great flash. I have several of them. They are manual though so you won't get auto exposure or TTL. They are still great flashes and can be triggered optically from any other flash.
I also have PT-04 CNII radio triggers that work well. They are about $10-12 each for a transmitter or receiver. You could get (2) Yongnuo YN460II's with (2) radio triggers and (1) transmitter for around $120.
here ya go

You will need an optical slave or some kind of remote trigger system for the sb-28's
I use some inexpensive triggers from ebay that work just fine and they won't cost you an arm and a leg.

Then two YN560 unless anyone thinks other suggested flashes would be better or would they be about the same as the ones imageX suggested? I dont mind having to use them manual as long as they have nice manual controls and can swivel.
