Photoshop compatibility

As some of you know I recently switched to a Mac. I have a PS 8 disc for windows, will that installed and work on my Mac?
D300s D90
Nikon 18-105mm,Nikon 18-200mm,Sigma 24-70mm f2.8, Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8

    The media, and licenses are different for Windows and Mac versions, however if you call Adobe I believe they'll let you swap your license

    Talk to Adobe. The Photoshop license allows you to have two copies of the software on your own personal computers, like your desktop and your laptop. I am not aware that the have to be in the same Operating system, but you may need help from Adobe to accomplish this since PS 8 is no longer current.

    Yea, I missed that earlier this morning. I've had no issues with them giving me a new serial for my CS instance when I switched to Mac, but the CS version was fairly recent at the time.
