Slideshow affecting Analytics?

I enabled the slideshow on my SmugMug site using the Slideshow under the homepage layout.

Question, does the slideshow affect page views on my Google Analytics? It seems that it does - since enabling, my page views have been significantly higher.

If it does affect this, is there a way to make any modifications to keep my Analytics more accurate? I have my Google Analytics code inserted under Custom Footer.

Thanks!

Everytime someone opens your page with a slideshow on it, the images that are displayed to the view are counted (only once) in SmugMug stats and I would assume GA as well. I don't know of a way to suppress that, I'm sorry.

Since GA counts page views, slideshow images wouldn't be counted in GA unless Smugmug explicitly feeds slideshow images to GA somehow.
