I've been going through my old photos as I prepare to archive them.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

There's so much controversy about photographing people and model releases yet I see photos of people every day that I'm sure the photographer has not gotten a release from. Nonetheless.......I love shots of people and have taken my share as well.

You need a model release if you are going to use the photo for commercial purposes. I don't use my street photos commercially.

    I agree--wonderful series.
That lost shot--it's my biggest fear. Being spotted by my pissed off subject in an enclosed place (primarily the subway). I like the sports headline in the back being so visible.

Love the conversion of the last shot too.

Thanks Ben, these were taken about 8 years ago when I still tolerated people.

That guy never spotted me. He looked like that most of the trip. I was using the Sony 717 then and the 717 was the best camera for candid street shooting I have ever used.
