It's mushroom season in North America. They're everywhere and almost in every color. After a frustrating couple of hours not getting any good shots of newts or indian pipes (my two mini-projects) I found this beauty and set to work orchestrating the scene. Luckily I worked fast enough that the dappled sunlight was still in the shot. After a bit more work in post I had this -



and I have to say it came out pretty darn well. I swear my backpack spends more time on the ground than on my back!
