    You've got great color and detail in this shot, that's for sure. thumb.gif The composition isn't doing much for me though because there is so much blue sky with not much in it. But it's still a lovely shot of a nice place.

    Yeah - I can understand and appreciate that perspective. This is just such a rare event on Rainier...cloudless and no wind has never happened to me before! So it probably means so much more to me. ;)

    Good image overall, nice reflection and symmetry. Agree with the sky comment above, clouds or something to fill that space would make it more dramatic.

    Great shot. I agree a little with the comments about the blank sky but I've lived there (and now down in Portland) and I know the rarity of what you got. Even on a cloudless day the haze can completely mask any details. Very nice capture. I'd love to catch a view of Mt Hood like that.

    Is that Riffle Lake? Just curious how well the Google Earth 3D topo matches with reality.
    Just a hobbyist with never enough time to shoot.
