drag & drop beta uploader not working

Tried to upload 45 pictures totalling 95mb via the drag and drop uploader by dragging pictures directly from iphoto onto the uploader (this has worked in the past). Pictures didn't show up immediatly as they used to, but let the upload finish anyways. At the end, the uploader said "no photos received" and the album was empty. Tried again with a single photo (1.4mb) and got the same "no photos received" message.

Using safari, running mac os 10.3.9, and iphoto5.

And ideas what's going on here?

Thanks.

another Beta user can't upload photo
Same with me. I've tried twice to upload a photo tonight using the Beta and it won't show. This had been the fastest uploader for me since I'm still using a modem.
I'm also using OS 10.2.4 and Safari 2.0.1
Hope it's up and running again soon.

I've also been trying to upload with the beta uploader with no luck. It must be a smidge on the broken side...

The Case of the Missing Uploaders.

I suspect Andy knows this and is already working the case: This morning all options for uploading mysteriously vanished. Where before there was a link to "add photos" which led to your choice of uploader, today the link (normally next to the "slideshow" starter) is (gasp) gone!

Cobranding doesn't affect the uploader pages.

But you could hide the 'add photos' button from the galleries? I think Andy was referring to that.

    Beta uploader has size limits
Contrary to the claim that the Beta uploader has an unlimited upload size I find that I get an error message about max upload size exceeded. This limit was encountered when I tried to upload more than 64 files that total about 512MB in size

The beta uploader is broken. The Smugmug engineers are aware of this and they are currently working on a fix.
