I think it's a stretch, Jeff. It's still a BIF shot. Think of taking a landscape shot...and just make sure it has some flying birds in the background/composition. Or a jungle shot with a monkey jumping out of one of the trees in the distance. Take a picture of a corn field...with a red barn..and pigs flying in the distance.
Set up a shot with some subject matter as it's main focus....that's not the BIF..that must also be included. (or insert any other animal in the air)

Its a good capture Jeff and close to what I was going for but I would still like to see more of the scene around the pelican.
