    Looks like you guys had a really good low tide. You can see the shelf the rocks are sitting on. Awesome!

    1 and 2 are great. 1 shows good depth, and the mist in 2 really adds to the picture.

    Gorgeous photos. I especially love the mist in #2, but the slight touch of blue in #3 really makes that photo pop.

    I live in San Jose too! Where is Bowling Ball Beach? I have never heard of it (i know it is not in San Jose, ;) )

    Thanks mom2sage, good to meet another San Joseian. You're right, that's not Lake Almaden there. rolleyes1.gif It's up by Mendocino.

    Nice job on these! I like the compositions and colors! Did you use grads or exposure blends? The reason I ask is some look a little dark on top at the horizon line, but it could be my uncalibrated work monitor (I still don't have power at home thanks to Irene).

    Thanks, Bryan. They're manual blends. You have a good eye. I did them very quickly, so maybe I need to go back and take another look.

    I do a lot with blends and grads, so these kind of things usually jump out at me! A wider, softer brush at the blend point might make the transition more gradual. :)
