I'm in process of setting up packages for specific customers [specific galleries]. Just a few sorta-related but also sorta-different questions:

Question #1:
Is there a way that customers can purchase packages only from a gallery? I've set up the packages, but it seems that customers can still go into the gallery and order individual prints. I prefer that only packages and not individual prints be available.

Question #2:
Is there a way to have a gallery's images be non-printable, yet still allow customers to purchase and download digitals? I'd like the option to be that customers can view photos, but only have access to purchasing digital downloads and not be able to purchase prints.

Hi there,

- Packages rely on a gallery pricelist so you do need to have items priced and the 'printable' feature enabled in order for a package to be work in a particular gallery.

For your second question, you just need to input 0.00 beside any items that you don't want to make available for sale in the gallery. That will remove those items from your offerings. So, you could do that for all products except the digital downloads and have digital downloads as the only available items for visitors to purchase in a gallery.

About question #2...

I went back into gallery and set all pricing to 0 except for digital downloads pricing, then logged out and went into gallery as customer. Digital download pricing is still fine, but I still have the option of buying other prints [only now its withOUT any profit]. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Hi again,

Can you email us at the helpdesk? We'll need to look at the gallery.

Also, if you left any items blank instead of 0.00, that would set the pricing as the default pricing, rather than remove them.

Nevermind. I went back in and change my "0" fields to "0.00" and it worked. Thanks!
