New Zealand Volcano

The volcano Mt. Ngauruhoe ( pronounced Narahowee ) after recent snowfall in the central North Island. NZ.

    Nice shot i would like to see this mountain when the sun is going down, is it anywhere near Napier or Gisborne

    Thanks guys. The sun was overhead at the time ( mid day). To get a sunset shot you would need to be the other side of it, which you can get to as it is in a national park. There are two volcanos together here. I just put up this shot of the one. Have others if you want to see them.

    It is more the central North Island. Napier is on the East coast, but you can get there by going past the mountains.

    Very nice. Given the orientation, take a dawn shot. I'd love to see it.

    So would I but.........I live about 200Kms away, and most days at dawn I am on my way to work !
