Difference btw easy share and linking

Can anybody explain what the difference between easy sharing and enabling outside linking is?

From what I know "easy share" links are just the URL that takes you to the album or picture. Embedding is HTML code to put on a website to show the album link on a website.

Thanks, I think that clears it up for me. So, basically they are the same thing just tailored as to how they are going to be used.

Easy sharing puts the share button on your gallery page. External links "on" allows images to be linked elsewhere (like here on Dgrin, or your blog, etc).
