Can't generate a link 4 gallery download

I think I'm losing my mind.

Just up until a day or so ago I used to have an option to generate a link for zip download to any gallery I chose.

Smugmug would email me the link that was valid for two weeks taking me to a zip download.

Why can't I find this option? Please?

This is what I send clients who buy digital copies and I cannot find this option. :scratch:scratch

    You must be logged in to see this option in the tools menu in the gallery. Still can't see it? Email us. http://help.smugmug.com

    I am logged in. I'm will try again. All I can find is download a zip to my hard drive and that isn't what I want.

    We don't have such an option. Tools>Album Download will cause us to send you an email with a zip file link.

    Interesting. I got it to work in one gallery.

    This is the gallery I need it to work it. It's trying to download a zip to my hard drive.

    This is because you've already requested that zip file - and you should have an email from us with that info. Please do write our heroes, we can help thumb.gif

    I did? It never got to the normal screen telling me a link would be sent. I guess I'll wait and see if it happens.

    I never got the link as I knew the request never went thru. At least from my end. It's working on other galleries, but not the one I need.

    I ran into this problem a lot a few months ago. I stopped using the download all feature because I had to email support for the link almost half the time.

    I don't think this is the same problem.

    Months ago we modified the feature Samir, so that updates automagically cause a new link to be genned (if you wish).

    Right now support is sending me the link and asking if there is anything else they can do. What I need is for this feature to work.

    When I click "download all" the screenshot above is what I get. It never says smugmug is generating a zip and will email it to you. An email from smugmug never comes with my zip (link) to the gallery.

    I don't need the photos downloaded on my hard drive. I need the ability to send out a link to clients who can download the pictures their self.

    In my case, I did get the screen saying that SM is generating the zip, but I wouldn't get the email half the time. I got fed up with that and having problems with the download itself and went back to using albumfetcher.

    Gotcha. I am definitely not getting that screen, but having to email for the link to my zip.

    The help desk has been very helpful.

    The gallery in question I had requested a zip from less than two weeks ago. Last night I added new photos. At this point it should let me generate a new link because of the new photos, but failed. Smugmug reset something and I was able to generate a link myself.
