Hello!

Quick questions that will hopefully inspire a good conversation....

What is your favorite online source for NEW photography accessories (lighting, modifiers, backdrops, etc)?

Same question, but for USED accessories?

Thanks guys/gals!

This message does not belong in this forum, so the mods will probably move it. In the mean time:

    1) New = B&H. Far and away the biggest selection, most user-friendly website, useful user reviews, low shipping rates, no hassle returns, and prices that while not rock bottom are on the low end of the distribution. The only downside of their popularity is that this is not where you want to go for items in high demand and low inventory. B&H sells them out FAST.

    2) Used = forums like this. For the specific items you list I would try getdpi instead of here. I do 100% of my used gear buys on one of the following: dgrin, nikoncafe, nikonians, fm, and occasionally photo.net. I never buy glass from eBay though I will sometimes go there for the cheap plastic knicknacks that are ridiculously overpriced by Nikon.

Moved to Gear > Accessories (for discussion)

    rather than

Gear > Flea Market (for buying and selling) thumb.gif

and to answer your question, why, of course, the Flea Market right here!

New, Adorama. Used, DGrin. If DGrin doesn't have what I'm looking for, then FM, KEH, or maybe the Adorama Used department.

    Without a doubt
My new favorite resources for backdrops and floordrop is www.sosocreative.com or www.facebook.com/sosocreative.com

For the rest of my gear BH almost 100% of the time.
