Such tiny tiny detail.

I only wish I'd had an MPE to get even closer :)

A rather blustery day today resulting in pretty much nothing about. However whilst pottering about the garden trying to locate a subject, I spotted this little fly on the stem of a flower (same one the Parasitoid wasp was on). Didn't think much of the overall capture of the bug but I was amazed by the fine detail on the stem.

I think I'm going to re-visit with all 3 ext. tubes and the tripod later to try and magnify those little orbs even more.
On a side note, there's something to be said for listening to Chopin, Rachmaninoff and Beethoven whilst processing images.

I cropped and resampled at 300 dpi to bring up those orbs a little more.
