Sky was looking promising yesterday evening, so I headed out on a drive - been wanting to catch the shadows on the east hillsides as the sun goes down - was treated to a nice light show.

Thanks - I did use my grad ND filter (Cokin P-style), but I flipped it over and used the hard edge to make a clean break at the horizon, with the darkest part just above the horizon line where the light was brightest, then let it taper off to the top of the frame. I really need to break down and get a Singh Ray reversed ND grad panel.

Sunrises and sunsets on the Great Plains can be very magical - one good thing about not having very many pesky trees, obtrusive mountains or silly buildings: a pretty big view of the horizon.
